MEET PRODUCER AMALIE LYNGBO QUIST

Amalie Lyngbo Quist is an independent film producer with a strong focus on finding and developing exciting new talents and creating thought-provoking, evocative cinematic experiences for diverse audiences. Amalie graduated from the alternative Danish film school Super16 in 2014 and now co-owns the Copenhagen-based film company Beo Starling, for which she has produced the psychological thriller SUPERPOSITION (2023), the horror feature BREEDER (2020), the claustrophobic thriller CUTTERHEAD (2018) by Rasmus Kloster Bro and the female-driven psychological drama PSYCHOSIA (2019) by Marie Grahtø, which premiered at Venice Film Festival. She holds a graduate degree in Management of Creative Business Processes from Copenhagen Business School and UCLA. Besides doing film, she works in the leisure tech space and has founded the tech start-up Natureventyr – awarded Startup of the year in 2021.
